Kekerengu Cottage Sleepers Vineyard

Sleepers Vineyard, memorable and fun. We love colour here at Kekerengu Cottage. Summer or winter.  The cottage is situated in its own private fenced in garden. Everything inside we have tried to make easier for you. ....full size electric oven, dishwasher, dryer and washing machine. Firewood at the front door. 

We will do your recycling, and our pigs love your food scraps too. Wanting some cosy time, then stay inside and relax by the wood fire. You can pre-order a bottle of wine so it is waiting for you in the cottage. There are some vinyl records to play or at just the push of a button and you have bluetooth. Continental breakfast is provided

 Our red romantic bedroom has a very  comfortable king-size bed, cotton sheets, feather filled pillows and duvet top & bottom, electric blanket, and ceiling fan for those hot nights. If you have adult family or friends joining you there is another room you may book. This is our green bedroom with a queen-size bed, cotton sheets, feather filled pillows and duvet top.

We are pet-friendly, dogs are most welcome.  There is a vineyard, river walks, bird life and wine tasting, and we are close to the beach for fishing or brunch at The Store 

We offer a fully fenced garden with lawn, fruit trees, herbs, and flowers. 

There are also two off-road push bikes to enjoy around the vineyard only.  You are more than welcome to  bring  your own bikes  and  enjoy the whale trial. We love our animals. Come and meet our Kune Kune pigs Louis, and the  Bronte sisters, and our Gotland sheep with their amazing coloured wool, free range hens and Vincent the rooster and our pond full of Pekin ducks.
Listen to the birds morning and evening song.  Enjoying a dark night in Kekerengu  were you to clearly see the Milky Way and southern constellations.
There is 40.5 hectares to explore and enjoy.

We Like to grow happy memoires

Sleepers  vineyard is made up of three terraces.

Come and see the awesome skyline of Kekerengu from our top terrace,  where you can see the sea and Kaikoura ranges, and where we grow Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir and Oriental bay . On the way down you can stop at our day or night time viewing table. Here you can look down we grow Albariño and Tempranillo and the bottom terrace is our Sauvignon Blanc.
